| Abstract: | The author studied the process and effects of the pilot art therapy program, which involved four cancer patients. Art therapy was carried in the form of the shirt therm thematic group with the emphasise on the Guided Imagery in conjunction of artistic expression. Draw-a-Story Test, graphic and verbal self-portrayals and some other assessments were used to confirm therapeutic effects. The stugy demonstrates the positive dynamics in patients' emotional states and their attitude towards themselves. |
