| Abstract: | Multiple disabled adolescents show puber behaviour within music therapy. The difference between the two areas of development is big and it is difficult for a music therapist to connect in a good way on the behaviour of the cliënt. The main goal of this qualitative inventorising research is to offer knowledge and insights, and to describe methods for the therapist to work with, in supporting multiple disabled adolescents in music therapy. Roughly a few main goals for music therapists, working with multiple disabled adolescents, are: to offer structure, to not only set boundaries to behaviour, but also trying to change behavior or to learn how to act in a different way, to have an empathatical and supportive attitude, to discover ways to influence the behavior of the client, the use of humour within therapy. |
