| Abstract: | The qualitative research "The imaging self" investigates up to which degree it is possible to give a creative therapeutic diagnosis evaluating the Mandala-task given to new patients in a pulmonary rehabilitation centre. This introduction-task is used to build an inventory of inadequate or inflexible (coping-)behaviour, that can be a barrier on the way to an optimal adjustment to the disease. With this analysis of development a method of observation is developed and the list of questions for the debriefing interview has been improved. That way, the information about the patient has been put in more concrete and reliable terms faster. |
