Travel information

Alcalá de Henares is located about 30km outside of Madrid and is reached easily by bus or train. From Madrid Barajas Adolfo Suarez airport, the easiest way to reach Alcalá is by taking the 824 bus. There are three buses every hour, which cost in the region of 4 euros. There is also a metro line up to Nuevos Ministerios. From there you take the train – either C-7 or C-2 towards Alcalá de Henares or Guadalajara.

A Taxi from the airport to Alcalá will cost about 45 euros.

Lope de Vega

ECArTE has negotiated with the excellent student accommodation venue of Lope De Vega, which is next to the site of the conference. There are up to 125 rooms, comprising of individual and twin rooms, which have been reserved. The cost for an individual room is 50 euros and for a twin 35 euros per person. Breakfast is included. Please note that only children over 16 are permitted to stay at this accommodation.
